Moving and deleting in combination with their talk pages creates pure chaos. Not very well solved. The following features are essential imo: On page move: * Remove useless option to not "Move associated talk page". I can't think of a situation where I do NOT want to move the talk page as well and instead leave it behind as dead talk page. If untiked by users it only creates chaos, thus: remove this option or hide it for normal users if there is really a need for this. * Return a warning if the page is linked to. On deleting pages: * Return a warning if the page is linked to. See https://bugzilla.wikimedia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=17708 * Add checkbox to he deletition form "Delete associated talk page". Seems more useful than NOT moving it... This would cover https://bugzilla.wikimedia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=10814

* Add a new special page to find dead talk pages (talk pages with no corresponding non-talk NS page).

However useless you may find it, someone, somewhere, may actually use this. > * Return a warning if the page is linked to. > > On deleting pages: > > * Return a warning if the page is linked to.
