Default food & drink items like Baklava, Brownie, Bubble tea, Cheeseburger, Stroopwafels could not make any sense to non-western users. An option to allow admins to replace food items with local ones may be more friendly to such wikies. For eg: Offering Baklava or Stroopwafels in ml.wiki*.org sites is foolishness, because most people (including me :)) don't know what it is.
WORKSFORME (not really) - baklava are delicious!
Dan, how do you feel if your fellow wikipedian offer you some Payasam, Masaladosa or Parippuvada?!

(In reply to comment #3) > This might help > https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Extension:WikiLove#Custom_configuration Indeed Santhosh is correct, everything is customisable via MediaWiki:Wikilove.js on the localwiki It would be possible to add some extra items to the i18n files, so more items, unused by default could be added and translated For me, this is a WORKSFORME
Here is the configuration file for ml.wikipedia.org: http://ml.wikipedia.org/wiki/%E0%B4%AE%E0%B5%80%E0%B4%A1%E0%B4%BF%E0%B4%AF%E0%B4%B5%E0%B4%BF%E0%B4%95%E0%B5%8D%E0%B4%95%E0%B4%BF:WikiLove.js Please update it with proper configuration for your language and culture. Reedy: In the future can we make sure that people do a better job of pre-configuring their local WikiLove.js before we agree to turn it on for a wiki? Most of the ml.wiki config file isn't even translated. praveenp: Also see bug 32033.
