Let's aim to remove special Wikitext code from the text snippets wherever possible, emulating the Watchlist implementation where appropriate. As a rule of thumb, we don't want to Wikitext markup in the text snippets payload, as it is likely to confuse new users. Here's an example of what I got when one of my edits was reverted, which is pretty confusing: 'Undo revision 980 by [[Special:Contributions/Fabrice Florin (WMF)|Fabrice Florin (WMF)]] ([[User talk:Fabrice Florin (WMF)|talk]])' It should simply show the plain text without any markup, as so: 'Undo revision 980 by Fabrice Florin (WMF)(talk)' As discussed separately, we do not currently plan to make any of these text snippet links active in the flyout, to simplify the user experience. It would seem OK to have these links be active in the archive page, where we are making more links active, but only if it doesn't compromise user safety.
Fixed, but not yet merged.
