Created attachment 12164 [details] PageTranslate result on Chrome I have something in page translation [1] that has long blocks of text. Following [1] I notice that the translate UI will show me the english source and then have the translated text immediately follow it grayed out. See also screenshot. With long blocks, the translated text cannot be seen (and sometimes the source message). This it makes it very difficult to see at a glance what the translations/source messages look like. Would it not be better to make these blocks and show the entire message? Thanks for the great explanation, Matt. Exactly for this reason there is the "Page" mode at the bottom bar. For proof reading, there is the proofread mode. In the previous interface, we tried to facilitate every possible use case in the same mode. That's why there are three now. I think this report should be closed WORKSFORME. Agreed?
Sure; we can close it. I guess I'm a little confused as to what purpose that landing page has though; from a UX perspective I was expecting more information on the messages having clicked on the 'translate' link from the page. That could be because I was looking to modify a specific message in French that I was having difficulty importing -- so didn't fall exactly into your use case for the page.
