Assumption: ULS is in the sidebar position: 1) Go to https://dev.translatewiki.net/ or http://en.wikipedia.beta.wmflabs.org/wiki/Main_Page 2) Click search field 3) Click keyboard icon 4) Click the cog icon in the menu Observed: Input settings popup opens in the middle of the page 5) Click [...] Observed: Language settings popup is positioned next to the cog icon in the sidebar Observed: A triangle pointing towards the cog icon from the popup Expected: Language settings open in middle of the page, without a triangle
Tried with the above steps. I am not able to reproduce the issue at beta.wmflabs. I am getting expected result
Weird I do not see the position issue, but I do see the triangle to appear.
The observed behaviour is confirmed to be happening on Chrome. On Firefox, the Language Settings pop-up shows in the middle of the page with a triangle pointing nowhere significant. Screenshots for both are attached.

Verified. The Language Selection popup now displays in the same position as the 'Language Settings' popup i.e. middle of the page. The triangle has also been removed. Confirmed on Chrome and Firefox.
