Created attachment 13040 [details] Malformed reference tooltip (Chrome) I recently added an endnote (template:efn) to the Wikipedia en "Captain Blood (novel)" article, with a list of numbered bullet points, each of which had two <ref> citations. The note itself worked fine at the bottom of the page, but when hovering over the superscript reference ([a]) to get a popup "reference tooltip" of the note without having to scroll to the bottom of the page, the citations seem to have caused it to display in a really malformed way in Chrome (screenshot attached), Firefox and Internet Explorer.
Thank you for the report. However, reference tooltips are not a core feature, but a gadget. Please complain at [[MediaWiki talk:Gadget-ReferenceTooltips.js]] or an appropriate page at whatever wiki you were experiencing this on :)
Thanks for the link!
