Description Rummana Yasmeen 2013-11-20 17:54:50 UTC
While testing on production , I found that when I select a specific template all the related parameters show up on the dialog box.
However, in test 2 and beta I do not see any related parameter to select.
Can those parameters be included on these environment, so that the testing can be done on it in these environment.

I tried the following templates:
reflist
citeweb
taxobox
Comment 2 Andre Klapper 2013-11-21 20:55:31 UTC
What would be a link to edit e.g. taxobox with VE "on production"?
Comment 3 Rummana Yasmeen 2013-11-21 22:12:36 UTC
An example page for editing taxobox could be :https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:RYasmeen_(WMF)/table_test?veaction=edit

I might be missing something obvious here but,
the last change to the Taxobox template on test 2 was made 7 years ago, I think, so even if it worked properly, and I didn't test this, I think it's missing TemplateData (https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/VisualEditor/Portal/TemplateData ).
If you want to use the same templates you use on en.wp, for example,
you'd need to import them and their documentation, I guess.
Comment 5 James Forrester 2014-03-11 01:40:19 UTC
Manual importing of the TemplateData is needed for this.
