Created attachment 15249 [details]
first word in page text is still in link box after clicking and typing

seen in Chrome only as of 30 Apr:

as a logged in user on beta labs, invoke VE on a page containing text

without typing or clicking anything else, click the Link icon

the first word in the page text is in the box to create the link

* problem: the text in the link box is not automatically highlighted

click in the link box to create the link text

* problem: default text in the link box that should be highlighted should also be removed when the user clicks in the box to type their own link

I can't reproduce this in Chrome or Firefox on Beta Labs now – possibly a temporary/cached deployment bug?
Comment 2 Chris McMahon 2014-06-03 18:04:37 UTC
No consistent repro
