Description Amir E. Aharoni 2014-08-11 10:14:09 UTC
Compare the following two pages:

Media Viewer: https://he.wikipedia.org/wiki/%D7%A9%D7%A8%D7%99%D7%AA_%D7%97%D7%93%D7%93#mediaviewer/%D7%A7%D7%95%D7%91%D7%A5:Sarit_Hadad_14.JPG

Commons: https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Sarit_Hadad_14.JPG

In the Commons page the Permission parameter in {{Information}} says: "{{cc-by-sa-3.0|Neukoln}}", and has additional text.

When shown in Media Viewer, the "License details" box shows only the additional text and not the cc-by-sa-3.0 license.

Prioritizing down because the permission box will probably go away in the next iteration of Media Viewer. It's used way too inconsistently (it can contain anything from a license template to "See below" to a personal attribution template) to fit it into a different UI, and it typically does not contain anything important.
(See the Wikimania presentation for more information - I don't think we have a Mingle ticket yet: https://docs.google.com/a/wikimedia.org/presentation/d/1FNGLEzVsoELZqxiso_1wE2sYR2JO6PzQd_aeYdTyXx0/edit#slide=id.g3711baa7d_3_389 )

The attribution text in the license template should be used instead of the author/source text (although in this case in would not make much difference), that's bug 65445.
