When, on enwikinews, I tried typing, for example, Alpha beta, gamma, saving the link transforms the link into Alpha beta, and not Alpha beta gamma. ** STEPS TO REPRODUCE ** 1. Edit a page 2. Type a wikilink of any kind 3. Insert a comma somewhere in the link 3. End with "|]]", instead of "]]" or "|Epsilon]]" 4. Save 5. Look at the link you created ** WHAT SHOULD HAVE HAPPENED ** The software should only display after the first colon when viewing a page. ** WHAT ACTUALLY HAPPENED ** The software truncates the second half of the link so that only the part before the comma is saved ** EXAMPLES ** converts to . Pineapples, sweetcorn & egg fried rice converts to Pineapples.
I'm pretty sure this is intentional.
Yes, this is intentional. Foo, bar expands to Foo. If, as you say, Foo, bar expands to Foo that would be a bug, but I think that was a typo on your part.
