I was trying to edit on my mobile (Android) device, and I could not! I have the WikiEd gadget enabled, which basically resulted in me being unable to select text in the editing pane and make changes.
Does it do any better with the gadget disabled? I've not had much luck using the regular textarea-based editor to work in Android (it technically works but is very hard to navigate and scroll through), while I don't think that the contentEditable-style editor that I think that gadget uses works at all in Android.
Yes - it works "better" with the gadget disabled, in the sense that it is possible to edit. But you are right: it is still very difficult even without the gadget. Is it possible to just completely disable that gadget from opening on a mobile device, or at least on an Android device?
Its equally useless on iOS. What support does the gadget system have for a selective disable?
