We have been encountering a following problem during the last 1,5 months. After a file deletion, a "ghost" of the file remains, e.g. http://www.peeep.us/c7a4f43b (there is no description, you cannot open the file through the links, but you can see the the picture and the page is counted as existing). To rectify this we have to restore the file and delete it second time. The frequency of this is increasing and today they are occuring continuously http://ru.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=special:log&dir=prev&offset=20121005000000&limit=20&type=delete&user=NBS&page=
Hi MaxBioHazard, is this still a problem? Going to http://ru.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=%D0%A1%D0%BB%D1%83%D0%B6%D0%B5%D0%B1%D0%BD%D0%B0%D1%8F:%D0%96%D1%83%D1%80%D0%BD%D0%B0%D0%BB%D1%8B&dir=prev&offset=20121020000000&limit=20&type=delete&user=NBS&page= and trying http://ru.wikipedia.org/wiki/Файл:Кенг7ш878.jpeg from the list I get the usual "Эта страница ранее удалялась или была переименована", so I cannot reproduce.
Unfortunately closing this report as no further information has been provided. MaxBioHazard: Please feel free to reopen this report if you can provide the information asked for and if this still happens in a recent supported version (see http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Version_lifecycle ). Thanks!
It seems, the problem disappeared.
