Created attachment 13495 [details] logged in user get not-logged-in msg Using a proxy to throttle my connection to 56K. This seems to be true in Chrome only and not Firefox: Log in; navigate to any page; click edit/beta Chrome shows 'not logged in' warning.

Created attachment 13497 [details] adding categories doesn't enable Save page
Created attachment 13499 [details] Screen shot of 'not logged in' message I was able to repro this with Chrome v30 on Mac OS 10.8.5. See attached screen shot, where you can clearly see that I was logged in (at http://en.wikipedia.beta.wmflabs.org/) when the popupWidget told me that I wasn't logged in.
(In reply to comment #2) > Created attachment 13497 [details] > adding categories doesn't enable Save page Whoops, this should be attached to Bug 55759
Forgot to note in my previous comment that I saw this behavior while connected (via Wi-Fi) to a cable modem, with no connection throttling in effect. No console messages or other obvious flags are thrown when the popup message appears. Problem does not repro with either Firefox on Safari on the same Mac OS 10.8.5 machine.
