Intention: In spanish Wikipedia, when accessing the latest version of a page from the history tab, a notice is shown on top of the page indicating that it is an old revision. This doesn't happen in english Wikipedia, where the notice says you are reading the current version of the page. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Access the latest version of the page from the history tab 2. 3. Expected Results: I'd like it to indicate it is the latest or current version of the page, same as the english Wiki Reproducible: Always
Thanks for taking the time to report this! Confirming: 0. Be logged in 1. Go to https://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Madrid 2. Go to "Ver historial" 3. Click first entry (right now that's 12:02) which links to https://es.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Madrid&oldid=74619632 Top of the page says "Esta es una revisión antigua de esta página" - the "antigua". cs.wikipedia.org and en.wikipedia.org correctly say "Toto je aktuální verze" resp. "This is the current revision of this page".
https://es.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Madrid&oldid=74619632&uselang=qqx lists the ID of that string: "revision-info-current" https://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/MediaWiki:Revision-info-current is empty, compared to e.g. cs, de, en or fr. Hmmm. Nemo: Do you have an idea?
No misteries and no MediaWiki bug: https://translatewiki.net/wiki/MediaWiki:Revision-info-current/qqq This message is disabled by default (ignored), you just have to get a sysop enable it by creating https://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/MediaWiki:Revision-info-current (same e.g. for revision-nav).
It might not be easy to get sysops to change it. Maybe that message should be put up by default.
(In reply to facu from comment #4) > It might not be easy to get sysops to change it. Can't be that hard https://es.wikipedia.org/?diff=prev&oldid=74915825
